I’ll be honest: me and leggings have had a tumultuous relationship.
I love them – especially when I’m lounging around the house, eating a big meal or working out. Them? Eh, not so much feeling the love for me in the same way. They start to get saggy, they develop holes along the seams, they show my underwear underneath so that I may as well be wearing a big sign saying “Look at my ass!” In short: they definitely don’t treat me well.
I’ve tried different styles and brands of cotton leggings, to no avail. They usually all end up leaving me feeling “meh”.
Then, along came Pins To Kill.
These leggings are like a cross between a leotard and leggings – the material makes you want to stroke your own legs for hours (is that weird? Maybe a little bit weird). I have never really owned what you would call “athleisure” gear, unless you count the stuff I wear to the gym, but these are so nice I don’t want to keep them exclusively for working out.
The company is based in Australia, but ships worldwide, and they offer some of the funkiest and most colorful designs I’ve ever seen. Each pair is hand-sewn and you can even customize the leggings by sending them your own print. I am seriously considering a pair with Pugs or Bassets all over them…..
In a nutshell, these things don’t make me look lumpy and bumpy, they don’t flash my underwear or my knees and they draw some pretty jealous looks from passers-by. You guys – I think I’m in love!
