What’s There?
Growing from strength to strength each year, the Manchester Christmas markets now comprise of over 300 stalls, all offering a variety of food, drink and gifts from both local and European sellers. The market stalls are spread across the city centre, all located within a mile of each other, and visitors can indulge in many festive and regional specialities including mulled wine, bratwursts, pancakes, paella, Lancashire Hotpot, strudel, hog roast, chocolate and sweets. There are covered bars and seating areas should the weather be poor and the stars of the markets are undoubtedly the large illuminated Santa Claus, German-style wooden pyramid and singing reindeer in Albert Square.
