When it comes to my hair, I’m a bit fussy about what products I use. Not in a stuck up, “I only buy designer brands, dahling” kind of way. But in a “I have crazy hair that won’t co-operate and there’s only so many products that can tame it” kind of way.
I have a lot of hair, it’s naturally wavy/curly and it’s also coloured. Trying to tick all of those boxes is a hassle. Moisturising conditioners often leave me with greasy roots by the second day, whereas conditioners for coloured hair often don’t moisturise/detangle as well as I need.
I bought the Inecto Pure Coconut Conditioner purely on a whim at my local drugstore. It was pretty cheap and if I’m being honest, I bought it for Scott to use and for me to shave with. That’s how I roll.
But curiosity got the better of me after it smelled so good and so I decided to use it after my shampoo one day. I immediately noticed that a little went a long way and my hair was a lot less knotty and easier to comb through. After drying, it was also obvious that my hair was a lot smoother and softer to the touch. I didn’t think too much of this, as my hair can often react well to a new product the first time I use it and then subsequent uses start to lead to problems.
After each use of this conditioner, my hair felt soft and smooth and smelled delicious (hair swishes FTW). I also only need to use a small amount each time, meaning that the bottle lasts a really long time. And this in turn leads to me being able to wash my hair less because it isn’t weighed down with product. Win-win for me.
I don’t use this conditioner for every wash, because I’m not sure how good it is at keeping colour looking fresh, but I use it regularly now in my rotation. My hair has never smelled so good.
