Scott’s sister works at a Tiffany store in the US and as part of my Christmas present last year, she bought me this adorable porcelain jewellery holder.
She knew it was “me” as soon as she saw the world map and landmarks on it. Having travelled the world for the better part of two years, and as I’m currently living in Amsterdam, travel has definitely been a big part of my life. This cute little storage jar couldn’t be more perfect.
It’s made in Japan and has a cartoon-style world map on the top and some of the world’s most famous landmarks around the outside. It’s the perfect size for holding my watch, several bracelets and earrings. Considering I’d been draping my jewellery over the candlesticks and mantelpiece in our bedroom this was a much-needed addition to my dressing table!
What’s even better is that it comes with its own dustbag and big blue box, which I can use for storing other pieces of jewellery in (or just leave out to show off haha). I’m in love with it and it reminds me of my travels every time I open it.
What kind of jewellery box do you have? Or do you have any unorthodox jewellery storage methods?
