Now that I have my own place again, and am therefore always looking for cute kitchenware and crockery to fill it with, I thought I’d start a new series alongside the recipe roundups that showcases some of the cute kitchen items that would look great in my (or your) kitchen.
To kick it off, and because most people probably require a lot of caffeine to help them get through the month of January, I’ve put together a roundup of cute mugs and tea cups for us all to lust after.
Lip Tease Mug in Gold by Reiko Kaneko: I first saw this mug being drunk out of by one of my favourite YouTubers and loved it, but have only recently discovered the designer. Fine bone china and gold = totally classy cup of coffee.
I Woke Up Like This Mug by Urban Outfitters: We all woke up like this, right?
Provence Rose Set of Teacups & Saucers by Cath Kidston: Who says you have to have guests over for an excuse to use a saucer? You can even drink with your pinky finger up and feel like a real posh lady with these adorable floral cups, dahling.
Eat Cake For Breakfast Mug by Kate Spade: Offering up a mantra that many of us live by (or at least wished we lived by), this mug is just as stylish as you’d expect from KS.
Monogrammed Mug by Anthropologie: Stylish yet practical, these mugs conjure up long reading sessions by the fire with a notebook and pen on hand to make all-important notes. Not that I let my imagination get away from me or anything…
Enamel Map Mug by Urban Outfitters: If you’re a travel lover like me, then this is the perfect mug for you. Plus, it’s enamel, so you can feel like you’re camping or on expedition while you’re drinking out of it (not that I’d ever go camping OR on an expedition, but still).
Jungle Creature Cup Set by Fab.com: These cups have cute little animals hiding inside them that only become visible once you start drinking your tea/coffee. Just don’t burn your mouth in an attempt to drink your tea faster.
Black And Fawn Pug Love Mug by notonthehighstreet.com: As a former pug owner, I basically die over anything pug-related. Someone buy me this, buy me this now!! (But don’t tell the Basset…)
Mint Green Owl Mugs by Viva Terra: I recently garnered an addiction to all things owl-related when it comes to the kitchen (my Mum bought us some cute owl printed storage tins and tea towels) and now feel compelled to pin all. the. owls. Plus, these mugs have been hand crafted in Japan, so give back to the small businesses, you guys!
Tickled Teal Hello Beautiful Mug by Forever 21: Because we all need a little boost of confidence in the morning and what better way to get it than to have your coffee mug tell you you’re beautiful?

I drink decaf, but I still love a mug of something warm in the morning. Even in the summer. We have a few cute mugs… one from a vacation spot that we sip from as we look out at the frozen world and dream of palm trees:)

I love that! Mugs make great souvenirs from travels and are useful (for drinking out of, as well as helping conjure up sunny thoughts in the winter!)
