In recent years, I’ve definitely become more of a coffee lover. If I’m not dunking Dutch stroopwafels or biscotti in it, then I’m learning all about it at coffee festivals and from coffee-obsessed friends.
We even treated ourselves to a Bialetti Italian coffee pot when we moved into our flat because we felt so guilty about all the bad instant coffee we were forced to drink while travelling. Once you’ve tasted amazing coffee, there’s just no going back to instant granules.
But now that the temperatures are soaring, a big hot mug of coffee isn’t exactly ideal in the mornings. So here’s my collection of some of the best iced coffee recipes to get your day started with a bang.
Vanilla Cinnamon Iced Coffee (via Dixie Crystals): It’s sweet, it’s creamy and it’s two of my favourite flavours.
Almond Milk Iced Coffee Shakes (via Baked Bree): As an almond milk fan (especially the flavoured kinds), this sounds right up my alley.
Chocolate Caramel Iced Coffee (via Deliciously Sprinkled): This sounds almost too decadent to enjoy at breakfast time. Almost.
Frozen Thai Iced Coffee (via Deliciously Sprinkled): I love all Asian iced white coffees, but would never have thought to freeze the coffee mixture before serving it.
Creamy Boozy Iced Coffee (via Averie Cooks): It’s five o’clock somewhere, right? This boozy and sweet concoction contains Frangelico, that wonderful nutty liqueur.
Salted Chocolate Iced Coffee (via The Housewife In Training Files): This contains cocoa powder, a sprinkle of sea salt and an optional scoop of chocolate protein powder, to supercharge your morning cup of Joe!
Coconut Iced Coffee (via Half Baked Harvest): You already know by now my mini obsession with everything coconut so I’m dying over this iced coffee, served here with delicious mini donuts.
Nutella Instant Iced Coffee (via Plateful): When I can get over how pretty the pictures of this iced coffee are, I’m going to make this immediately.
Cold Brewed Maple Almond Iced Coffee (via Coffee and Quinoa): As I’m still dreaming about a maple iced coffee I had here in Amsterdam not too long ago, this is exactly the kind of recipe I need.
Vanilla Blueberry Iced Coffee (via Sincerely, Kinsey): This refreshing combination is intriguing me so much that I feel I need to make this soon.
Kahlua Iced Coffee (via Damn Delicious): Here we go with the booze again, but sometimes a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. Even if that means supping Kahlua at 10.30am.
Pumpkin Spice Vietnamese Iced Coffee (via Food Plus Words): I know most of you wouldn’t admit it, but I’m sure you’ve already looked forward to all-things pumpkin flavoured already this summer. Why not use some pumpkin syrup in your iced coffee and get it over with already.
