This photo was taken en route to Fox Glacier in New Zealand.
The reason I love it so much is because the scenery is so beautiful it almost looks fake. This photo hasn’t been touched up at all.
It sums up perfectly how stunning New Zealand’s landscapes are – the fact that while we were walking to one natural wonder, we could stumble upon something like this.
I haven’t written about scenic Fox Glacier here yet (a terrible oversight on my part) but hopefully I will one day. Although we didn’t actually climb onto the ice itself, we got right up to the face of the glacier and took some amazing photos. It was a great day and one that I won’t forget in a hurry; especially not when I have such wonderful photos as these to look at.
EDIT: I did eventually write about Fox Glacier and how you don’t have to pay lots of money to climb up it.
